Man! Have you seen all the guitar internet lessons online? When you type in “Google” “Guitar Internet Lessons” you’re bombarded with millions of sites claiming to have the best online guitar lessons available. I’ve been playing guitar for over 22 years and some of the claims are just ridiculous! I’ve seen “Learn Guitar Overnight!”, “Impress your friends in less than five days!” Do people really believe this?
Learning the guitar is very rewarding. If it was easy? It wouldn’t be. You have to put in the hard work and practice. You’re not going to get out of it! However, guitar lessons have come along way with the option of guitar internet lessons. I can tell that in the future they’re only going to get better. Hopefully, the scams will be weeded out!?

I can’t believe that I’m actually trying to convince people to learn the guitar online. I don’t know? I guess it’s me, but, doesn’t this seem like a no brainer! I took private lessons for over 3 years at a total cost of $5,760! That was over 22 years ago. Who knows what it costs now? I’m sure that at least half of that didn’t need to be spent. A lot of the time I had to practice the same thing from week to week because my technique was off. When you learn the guitar online you can watch the videos over and over again until you get it right. Plus, with all the different camera angles it’s hard to get it wrong.
One word of cation though. There are many ways to learn the guitar online. But, many of these make promises that are just impossible or the method is just so bad that I would consider them outright scams! Do your research and make sure you check out the reviews of the well known and reputable ways to learn the guitar online.
