My Review Of The Epiphone SG G-310
By: John Sizemore
So! Here’s the guitar that changed everything! Yup! The Gibson SG which stands for “Solid Guitar”.
This guitar was designed to be a much more user friendly guitar than its counterpart the Les Paul. It’s much lighter and had an awesome gliding like action!
You’ve probably seen the likes of the little Angus Young from AC/DC running up and down the stage banging his head to what looks like a huge guitar!
Well, it’s not huge! It’s actually a lot smaller and lighter than the Les Paul with a real raunchy big sound!

My Review Of The Washburn Rover Travel Guitar
By: John Sizemore
Red Rover! Red Rover! Send Washburn right over! Remember that little game in grade school? Seriously though, this little red guitar caught my attention as I was reviewing the Martin Backpacker for some students looking for a nice little guitar they could pack around with them. After all, you’re not going to get really good at guitar fast unless you bring it everywhere! Well, with this little gem you can.

My Review Of The Epiphone Les Paul Standard
By: John Sizemore
I don’t know about you… But, as a kid (17 yo.) I just used to be mesmerized by the sound and look of the Les Paul. Back in 1987 is when I fell in love with this guitar. Watching and hearing Slash from Guns & Roses rip off such beautiful heavy tones and riffs that were so original it just had me paralyzed with a vision of being up there on stage playing one myself!

My Review Of The Epiphone Les Paul Special II
By: John Sizemore
I can still remember myself starring at Slash from Guns & Roses ripping that awesome lick to Sweet Child O’Mine back in 1987 when I was 17 years old. I couldn’t believe that a guitar could make that awesome of a sound. If you know anything about Slash? He primary plays Gibson Les Paul’s and has since Guns & Roses first started. I thought to myself “I had to get me one of these guitars!” Well, to my dismay the guitar retailed for over $4000 for the model I wanted…. Agh! Back in that day Epiphone was making guitars. But, nothing that came close to the Standard Les Paul made in the USA. Well, since then Epiphone has gotten a lot better. They’ve been able to come up with less expensive models than the Les Paul that are very comparable in sound.

My Review Of The Fender Squier Affinity Strat
By: John Sizemore
Like most young rockers out there the electric guitar seems to be the guitar they first purchase. My first guitar was very low quality made Kramer. I bought it because it looked cool! I had no clue what I was purchasing. It was just in my price range.
