Chris Young | Gettin’ You Home
This is a very simple song actually taught by Chris Young himself! There are only 5 chords in the whole song and these should be the 5 open chords you already know? Right!? ![]()
I know the song shows Chris playing a straight Am and C chord. However, he does embellish them a little. He’s playing the Am without his 3rd finger in one part of the song which is actually part of the C chord. When he moves to the actual C… He’s really playing a C9. However, I really believe he’s trying to make the song as simple as possible so it’s very easy to play. Besides, if you’re singing the song, no one will be able to tell anyway.
So, have fun with this and as always, if you need any help leave your comments below. ![]()
