This is a great song that will challenge you on playing a little more lead lines. After all, if you’re going to be a well rounded guitar player you’re going to have to learn some lead guitar.

Lady Antebellum has a great array of songs that are well suited for the beginner guitar player. Just like most Country, Pop & Rock. It’s based around 4 chords. You’ll have to use the capo on this one.

Here Marty teaches what I think is the simplest way to play the song. There were many other versions where the capo is placed on the 6th fret with different chords shapes. However, I think this is the best for beginner guitar players. If you sing, this is going to take some practice to get the timing down just because of the lead lines in the verse. So, be patient and here we go! :)
